The 10/100 EtherJet PCI Management Adapter provides 10BASE-T Ethernet and 100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet LAN attachment for PCs with a PCI bus interface.

Hardware Requirements
The IBM 10/100 EtherJet PCI Management Adapter can be installed in any PCI-slot equipped, Intel processor 80486, or higher, IBM or non-IBM PC. Use of the Wake on LAN function requires a PC that supports Wake on LAN and has an auxiliary +5V/3.3V power supply.

A network adapter cable is not included with these adapters. For 100BASE-TX operation, a UTP-5 cable with an RJ-45 connector is required. For 10BASE-T operation, a UTP-3, -4, or -5 cable is required.

Software Requirements
There is no mandatory software; however, an operating system that supports networking is required. Device drivers for all leading operating systems are provided. A software program such as IBM LAN Client Control Manager, or equivalent, is recommended for use with the Wake on LAN feature.

The EtherJet adapter is shipped with device drivers for all leading operating systems and network operating systems. The following software and networking environments are supported:
