Product Information
General information
The 10/100 EtherLink PCI Management Adapters feature enhanced manageability including remote system alerts. This allows network administrators to monitor PCs for case intrusion, voltage and temperature levels, and boot failures. In addition, the adapters have an onboard managed PC Boot Agent for improved remote wake up capabilities, which enable network administrators to remotely install software, configure PCs, and backup hard drives.

The 10/100 EtherLink PCI Management Adapters include PC management features that permit power-up of PCs from a central point of management. The managed PC Boot Agent added to the adapter in the PC provides flexibility to perform a pre-OS boot. This allows the PC to boot from the network before loading the operating system. The remote wake up feature will respond to a magic packet signal sent from a remote management agent.

These 10/100 adapters provide 10Base-T Ethernet and 100Base-TX Fast Ethernet LAN attachment for Intel 80386, or higher, PCs with a PCI Bus. The adapters offer ease of use with a Microsoft Windows software diagnostic for easy installation and troubleshooting and LEDs that indicate link integrity and activity for both 10Mbps and 100Mbps. Additionally, the Dynamic Access Software brings intelligence to these adapters with features such as standards-based traffic prioritization and dRMON Smart Agent software for comprehensive and affordable network management. The adapters ship with device drivers for all leading operating systems and network operating systems.
