The Aptiva Desktop
Customization Program is a neat little program that allows animated
cursors to be placed on the desktop as program icons. It also animates
icons after a double click or fly over, as well as providing
individualized bubble help.
The Desktop program uses simple animated cursor files (*.ANI) for the
animated icon effect. This means you can easily add other icons if those
provided by IBM do not suit your needs. To add other icons:
- Obtain other ANI files that you wish to use.
- Copy them into the c:\Windows\Cursors\Icons directory.
- Start the Desktop customization program and your new icons
will be located when you chose the icon selection button.
