1. Open Control Panel
2. Double Click the System Icon
3. Click the Device Manager Tab
4. Select the Mwave component you wish to disable and double click it to get to properties.
5. Click the General tab
6. Uncheck the Device Usage*Original Configuration checkbox
7. Restart you system.
8. To re-Activate the component, simply re-check the Original Configuration box.

For 28.8 systems:

1. Run the program MWW\UTILS\HWCONFIG.EXE
2. Select the options that you wish to disable and click the drop down list.
3. Select Disable. Save the options and exit the program.
4. ReStart Windows.
5. Please keep in mind; You may only disable MIDI and the Modem portion of the Mwave.
