You must remove any references in the Device Manager that refer to the MWave. You must also remove the MWAVE files and folders:

1. Click Shutdown and Choose Restart in MS-DOS Mode
2. Type CD\ and tap [ENTER] to get to a C:\> prompt.
3. Type del c:\windows\mwave.ini and tap [ENTER]
4. Type deltree c:\mw* and tap [ENTER]
5. Type exit and tap [ENTER] to return to Windows
6. MWAVE is removed.
