Mwave Direct Sound

With the release of the new Mwave 33.6 drivers, the Mwave sound card now supports Direct Sound. Unfortunately, the drivers support only Version 3. Version 5 is the current version so it seems as if IBM is a little behind.
Believe it or not, some new Directsound games will not work with the new drivers, as they are compatible only with DirectSound3. The fix for this is to uninstall the 33.6 drivers and reinstall the 28.8 drivers. The 28.8 drivers will work with some Directsound games, regardless of the version. The sound quality is horrendous, but the game will still play.
