IBM - Microsoft Windows 98 Upgrade Kit It has been determined that in some instances the installation of the IBM supplied Windows 98 upgrade can cause 2137-Exx machines to lock up at the Windows Logo screen after installation. Although you may not be experiencing this problem, all existing Windows 98 upgrade CDs are being replaced with an updated copy. The updated CD is being shipped automatically to all customers who were sent the original upgrade from IBM. There is no need to contact IBM to order a replacement CD. If you have not received an upgrade from IBM, you will only receive the updated CD. Answers to Commonly Asked Questions: 1) What should I do if I haven't installed Windows 98 yet? If you haven't installed your Windows 98 upgrade yet please wait until you receive the updated CD from IBM. 2) How long will it take to receive my updated version?
