MWAVE Dumping Zone      

Seems like since all the problems with the 20D/20E drivers that "MWAVE dumping" has become the new National Pastime. Sightings of MWAVE cards in trash barrels is at an all time high. While those with the STINGRAY card at least have a shot at 56k (with the Cyber-A Parrot drivers), despite what IBM stated HERE they have since announced that "there are NO plans for 56k support for the Dolphin MWAVE".

There seems to be a considerable dispute over whether 56k is even possible with the limited resources allocated to the Dolphin card. Meanwhile while many struggle to get such basics as MIDI and full-duplex in Internet telephony apps at 28.8, the world is zooming by at speeds closing in on 56k.
